A Memphis native is making waves, and tears, on NBC’s “The Voice.”
Jeremy Beloate, a contestant on the 26th season of “The Voice,” is now one of eight singers left on this season and will advance to the semi-finals on Monday. The airing will be entirely live and advancements depend on the public’s votes.

Who is Jeremy Beloate?
Beloate is a Memphis-area native. Raised in Bartlett, Beloate was a student at Ellendale Elementary and Appling Middle School.
He later moved to Germantown and attended Briarcrest, where he was part of the school’s One Voice singing group, which competed on season 11 of the TV series “America’s Got Talent.”
Since then, Beloate has performed locally in productions at Theatre Memphis and Playhouse on the Square, as well as appeared at the Mid-South Fair.
After attending college, Beloate moved to New York City where he has been working and recently landed a lead role in a new musical from “American Idol” alum and YouTube star Todrick Hall.

Jeremy Beloate is a member of Snoop Dogg’s team on NBC’s “The Voice.” Beloate started the show on Michael Bublé’s team but was stolen in the knockout round.
In post-performance interview Snoop Dogg added that Beloate was “a superstar. This is a guy who has everything in his toolbox with a backup toolbox. Vocally, I feel he is strong enough to win ‘The Voice.'”

There are two easy ways to vote for contestants on “The Voice.” Voting is done through the show’s official app or at voice.vote.nbc.com. Voting typically opens at the beginning of each show and will close before results are announced each night. Only one vote is allowed per email address.
