The Voice will reveal the Top 5 contestants who will head into next week’s finale. The rules are the same as the past couple of seasons: Host Carson Daly will reveal the four singers America chose as their favorites. The fifth spot will be filled after the remaining four contestants sing for the instant save, and America votes in real time.

Unsurprisingly, Sofronio Vasquez, from Team Michael Buble, who closed out the show last night (Read our Recap) top the favorite performance poll. Right now, he seems to be The Voice artist to beat. He’s been garnering millions of views for his online performances. Team Buble’s other contestant, Shye, came in second. Together, Team Buble garnered over 60% of the vote.

And voters say that the artists they believe SHOULD go home WILL go home. I agree voters. As it turns out, The Voice 26 Top 8 are a strong group of artists. Jan Dan and Adam Bohanan are probably leaving the competition, but it’s NOT due to their performances. The only middling performance came from Christina Eagle, who turned in a by-the-numbers rendition of “Man! I Feel Like a Woman.” The young and underbaked Sydney Sterlace stepped up and delivered what she needed last night and will likely go to the final.

Jan Dan, Adam Bohanan and Christina Eagle will be eliminated tonight. Jan MIGHT have a chance if he can blow the audience away with an Instant Save performance. But likely, producers won’t give him a good performance slot. Sofronio Vasquez, Shye, Danny Joseph, Sydney Sterlace and Jeremy Beloate will advance. All five displayed dynamic vocals and stage presence last night.
