Jeremy Beloate’s The Voice season 26 blind audition explored
In The Voice season 26 episode 3, Jeremy Beloate spoke about losing his brothers and father to addiction. In a pre-audition interview, he said that the hardest part about the loss was watching his mother struggle. He called it “heartbreaking” and mentioned that for some time, it felt like every few years, something horrible was going to happen to his family.
“But I’m here, and I’m ready to bring good news. I feel like I’m the change,” he said.
The Voice season 26 contestant said that while he was on the stage, he would not be the only one signing as he referred to his brothers and father being his guardian angels. Jeremy was only 4 years old when he started singing and had been watching the NBC singing competition since it first premiered in 2011.
Jeremy sang Givein’s Heartbreak Anniversary and soon, the judges’ chairs started to turn. By the end of his performance, every coach had turned, indicating that all of them wanted him on their team.
Reba McEntire told The Voice season 26 contestant that she loved his voice. She complimented his range and said it was “just incredible” with “great feeling and emotion.”
Michael Bublé told Jeremy that he had a “tremendous gift.” He added that he felt the singer could do anything. Beloate opened up about his story with the judges and asked if he could bring his mother and sister on the stage. Snoop Dogg hugged Jeremy’s family members.
