Tom who was readying his acceptance speech for his self-assertive win, rubbed him the wrong way and unhappy Cruise in protest returned his previous trophies return to the Globes.

The Mission Impossible actor was sure a top contender at every prestigious film ceremony for the performance and the movie did secure a golden globe nomination alongside Babylon but unlike Brad who went on to get nominated for the best-supporting actor, Tom Cruise had to depart early from the race and was annoyed to the highest extent.

Now Tom is adamant about getting his shot at the next year’s Oscars, as he considers the performance as his magnum opus and after getting snubbed from the golden globes, Cruise is on a run to acclaim the most prestigious award known to cinema, previously reclaiming 3 nominations and will be hoping to have the last laugh in his rivalry with his fierce rival who have once already secured an Oscar win to his checklist, winning the title of best-supporting actor for his performance in once upon a time in Hollywood.
