Attention, Reba McEntire fans! The queen of country music has some news she’d like to share, and it’s something you’re definitely going to want to pay attention to.
As the singer continues coaching aspiring artists on The Voice season 25, it looks like Reba has some new tunes to perform as well. Posting a photo on her Instagram on May 6, she announced her plans to release a new single titled “I Can’t.” As she shared that fans could pre-save the tune ahead of its release on May 7, she also revealed she’ll be debuting the song with a live performance on The Voice the same night.
“#ICant wait to perform my new song on @nbcthevoice tomorrow night!” she excitedly wrote about her latest music news. “You can pre-save it now on your favorite streaming service.”
When fans caught wind that the Not That Fancy author would be expanding her music catalog with a brand-new song, they were thrilled to share their excitement with her in the comments.
“YAAS Reba 🔥🔥🔥 I CAN’T WAIT 😍🙌,” one person exclaimed. “I’m so excited for you @reba the Queen of Country 👑,” another declared. “Finally some new music, my Queen! 🙌 I love you and I cannot wait to hear it! ❤🔥,” a different viewer added.
Although Reba is about to give folks a taste of what’s to come with her music, that’s not the only thing she’s gearing up for this month. She is not only is set to host the 59th annual ACM Awards on May 16, she shared on Instagram that fans can expect her to perform during the ceremony as well.
“Not only is @reba HOSTING the 59th ACM Awards, she will also be PERFORMING brand new music! 🎶,” read the caption on April 29. “We can’t wait!”
If the title of her latest single is a nod to anything, it’s that Reba can’t wait for this next phase in her career!
