NCIS fans can’t stay up to date with Cote de Pablo after her departure from NCIS.
Throughout the course of its multi-decade existence, “NCIS” has witnessed numerous cast changes; nonetheless, the departure of Special Agent Ziva David (Cote de Pablo) was one of the hardest for viewers to accept. She debuted in Season 3 and was quickly promoted to a lead position, which she held until Season 11. Although De Pablo has maintained a low profile since leaving “NCIS,” viewers can still spot her in a few locations.
Alongside Rachel Brosnahan and Sam Neill, she starred in the television drama “The Dovekeepers.” The “NCIS” star was also in the 2015 film “The 33,” which is based on the real story of a group of miners who were trapped in a collapsed mine for more than two months. It’s also likely known to fans that de Pablo didn’t leave “NCIS” for very long.
Ziva During Seasons 16 and 17, David returned to “NCIS” for a final storyline. In fact, “In the Wind,” the final Ziva episode of Season 17, may be seen as the pinnacle of “NCIS,” as the character receives closure after her initial exit, which left viewers believing she had died. Fans who try to learn more about de Pablo’s personal life outside of “NCIS” are likely to come up empty-handed, with the exception of a few acting roles.
NCIS viewers can’t stay up to date with Cote de Pablo on social media
According to Cote de Pablo, the main reason she departed “NCIS” was because of the way the stories pertaining to her characters were being handled. She later took a slight detour, keeping her admirers in suspense with the vague words, “I didn’t leave because I wanted to go, because I was ready, or because I was tired.” Actually, I had no choice.”
Fans may find it difficult to determine de Pablo’s current status in life aside from that and a few small parts here and there, but the fact that she returned to “NCIS” suggests that things must have remained amicable between her and the crew.
The actor doesn’t use social media frequently. She revealed that she just finds it unappealing to share everything online in a talk with “Build Series.” “I am not rejecting [social media],” she clarified. “I never exclaimed, ‘Ah, no!'” However, I’m not shooting photos of myself when I’m having a good time. I’m just enjoying myself!” Therefore, not much about de Pablo’s life outside of “NCIS” and other ventures is visible.
Like a lot of things in her life, Cote de Pablo’s future is still unknown. It doesn’t appear like she has many upcoming projects planned. At some point, “NCIS” might make a comeback, maybe with Ziva going back to honor the recently deceased Ducky (David McCallum). It’s okay that de Pablo is pursuing her own interests for the time being.
