Adrian Griffin’s in-law daughter Jasmine Riggs, who blamed his family for his son’s murder, takes a harsh stance against the former Bucks HC.
The loss of Adrian Griffin as head coach of the Milwaukee Bucks on Tuesday came as a shock to many, but not to Jasmine Riggs, the late mother of Alan Griffin’s son. Reports of Griffin’s firing surfaced in the afternoon, and Riggs pounced. For those who are curious, Riggs blamed Griffin and his family for Jayce’s d.e.a.t.h, her two-year-old son.
After Griffin was fired, Riggs chastised him in a number of stories that she shared on her Instagram account, @jasmine_riggs.
“God don’t play. Behind my son it’s more to come fasho,” Riggs wrote in her first story. “Karma and more to come #JusticeForJayce,” she added.
On July 22, 2023, Jayce went gone from this life. He was discovered unconscious at a residence in Illinois. The mother informed CBS 58 that her son had fluid in his lungs, according to a medical professional. Jayce died of natural causes, according to the preliminary autopsy results disclosed in a statement issued by the Champaign County coroner. No signs of trauma or foul play were present.
But Riggs said her child’s father, Alan, his father Adrian Griffin, and his wife were home when her child was discovered unconscious and subsequently declared dead. Jayce had suffered a common respiratory infection just before he passed away. Riggs discovered that Jayce had died three days prior. Until that point, she maintained, he was healthy.
The next three days were to be spent with his father Alan and the Griffin family, but on the third morning, he was declared dead.
Why did Jasmine Riggs hold Adrian Griffin and his family accountable for the passing of her son Jayce?
Jasmine Riggs refrained from accusing Adrian Griffin, the NBA coach, and his family of any actions that directly caused her son’s d.e.a.t.h. But she blamed them for ‘neglecting’ her son, which was the reason he died. Not too many weeks after Jayce passed away, Riggs posted on Instagram:
“Jayce had THREE adults in the house when he died. Not one checked on him til it was too late. I’m not accusing these people of doing anything to my baby. I’m accusing them of neglecting my baby and THAT is why he’s dead. How long was Jayce dead before 911 was called is IMPORTANT.”
On August 10, 2023, Riggs disclosed in a follow-up article that Jayce was alone himself in the basement of the Griffin house. In addition, she stated that Jayce didn’t have any fluid in his lungs, despite what his autopsy report implied, when she brought him to the doctor. Riggs thought that although though Alan, Adrian Griffin, and his wife were present, the two-year-old was left alone in the basement of the Griffin house.
She added that when she called and texted Alan the night before Jayce passed away, he did not answer. Jasmine Riggs alleged Adrian Griffin and his family didn’t attend her son’s burial in one of her Instagram postings.
Jasmine Riggs added that the night before Jayce passed away, she texted and called Alan, but he didn’t answer. Jasmine Riggs said on her Instagram stories that Adrian Griffin and his family also skipped her son’s burial.
