Dwayne Johnson is being targeted and no one is sure why.
If you’ve watched professional wrestling or action movies over the past two-and-a-half decades or so, you would likely deduce that The Rock is universally loved. In fact, he seems to have so many fans that a run at the presidency for Dwayne Johnson has been a talking point on social media.
So it was quite puzzling for many in recent weeks when reports surfaced online that painted Johnson as unlikable behind the scenes. From frequent tardiness to peeing in a water bottle on set, his character has been questioned lately more so than ever before.
Some fans believe Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is lying about his height
Now, he’s being attacked for “lying” about his height. Some users online have criticized him for claiming to be 6-foot-5 inches, when in reality he looks more along the lines of 6-2 or 6-3 in person.
That’s hardly an outlandish claim from The Rock, especially when you consider that it’s long been understood that professional wrestlers inflate their heights by a couple of inches or more. A lot of football players do the same thing, and Johnson’s University of Miami college football bio has him listed at 6-5, so this “theory” can be properly put to bed.
All in all, it’s been surprising to see The Rock attract so much negative attention when it’s been the opposite for most of his wrestling and acting career.
