Nancy, 84, was last seen Saturday night at her home in the Tucson area of Arizona. She was reported missing Sunday.
Reports have since surfaced detailing how concerned neighbors called police in early January after spotting some suspicious activity on the roads.
An elderly man spotted the trespasser at his Tucson home, less than 10 minutes away from 84-year-old Nancy’s house.
The Pima County Sheriff’s Department has since told TMZ that the report has now been forwarded to the unit investigating Nancy’s case for possible leads.

Police are also probing people who know Nancy after questions arose over how she was reported missing
The elderly man told police that he caught the loiterer in his yard after a motion sensor went off and a floodlight switched on, on his driveway.
The unnamed man said the light “spooked” the visitor, who fled on foot before anyone could get a good look at his face.
And he is not the only one to report suspicious activity in the weeks and months leading up to Nancy Guthrie going missing.
QUIET CUL-DE-SAC
Brett McInti has lived in the neighborhood for five years and says it is a quiet area which does not often see trouble.
” I just tend to think it’s a pretty quiet, safe neighborhood,” he said.

He said he reported a similar incident to police because it was out of the norm for how quiet the area normally is.
“I’ve been here five years and we’ve had no actual big problems here,” he added.
“I did report one time to the police a few months ago, I noticed a car creeping down my driveway when I was coming to park.

“They backed out slowly. I looked at them. You couldn’t see the licence plate because they were backing out.
“But that’s the only time in five years, someone’s been on my property where it’s like they seem like they’re up to no good.
“They were a young couple in their 20s, in my opinion. I just remember it was a sedan, a little two or four door sedan, not real big, not an expensive car, not an SUV, just kind of a sedan, and again, they looked rather on the younger side, like in their 20s.
“And that’s the only time in all these years that I’ve seen something, something that raised my concerns.”
NANCY WAS ‘KNOWN AND LOVED’
Others in the area have told how Nancy was ‘known and loved in the whole community.’
“Anybody who knows her and has met her loves her,” said friend Mary Ann Blevins to The New York Post.
“I don’t think she has any enemies and that is why this whole thing is very scary.”
The 84-year-old hasn’t been seen since she was dropped off at her Tucson, Arizona home by family on Saturday evening.

On Wednesday, Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos confirmed that Nancy’s son-in-law Tommaso Cioni dropped her off at around 9:45 pm.
He waited to make sure that she got inside OK, as she suffers from physical ailments which makes walking difficult, Nanos said.
Nancy had been spending the evening with her daughter Annie Guthrie’s family for dinner, and the group had a normal night.
But the following morning, the family was horrified when police say they got a call from a parishioner at Nancy’s church who said she never showed up for service.
At around 12 pm, the family called 911 to report her missing after conducting a wellness check at her home.
They found her wallet, phone, and car untouched, but she was nowhere to be found.
Eerie photographs appear to show drips of blood outside Nancy’s front door, leading to the start of her driveway.
Cops haven’t commented on the disturbing sight, but confirmed all the DNA samples taken from the home have belonged to the owner.

“All we can tell you is that Nancy has been a member here for many years. She’s part of our community and we love her,” said Ed Coates, administrative assistant at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church.
“We’re praying for her. And that’s really all that we have to say right now. I’m sure the media will know before we will, you know, how the story unfolds, but we’re praying for her safety and praying for her family.”
They are now said to be investigating people known to Nancy as possible perpetrators of her abduction, sources told the New York Post.
Officers have said they have not completely ruled out the idea that the attack was carried out by kidnappers, but they are also now looking closer to home as well and will be “following every lead”, according to the outlet.
It comes after it emerged Nancy – the mother of Today show host Savannah – has not been to the church in Tucson, Arizona in person “for years”.
That’s despite police confirming she was reported missing after a worried congregation member called her family when she did not show at St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church.
A source told the Daily Mail that Nancy has not actually been seen in person since the Covid pandemic, and that she has been worshipping ‘online’.
CHURCH ARE ‘PRAYING’ FOR NANCY
Church leaders said they could not “quantify or confirm” if anyone from the church made the call to report Nancy as missing.
