Tommaso Cioni’s height in question as FBI shares suspect details; ‘How tall is Nancy Guthrie’s son in law?’

Tommaso Cioni, Nancy Guthrie’s son-in-law, has been the focus of speculations after the 84-year-old was kidnapped and many are wondering about his height.

Tommaso Cioni’s height has become the new topic of conversation after the FBI released details about the masked subject seen at Nancy Guthrie’s home, in the video footage. FBI Phoenix wrote on X “Today, the FBI is increasing its reward up to $100,000 for information leading to the location of Nancy Guthrie and/or the arrest and conviction of anyone involved in her disappearance.”

They shared that the subject’s height was approximately 5’9” – 5’10”. The feds added that the suspect was a male of average build. “New identifying details about the suspect in the kidnapping of Nancy Guthrie have been confirmed after a forensic analysis of the doorbell camera footage by the FBI’s Operational Technology Division. The suspect is described as a male, approximately 5’9” – 5’10” tall, with an average build. In the video, he is wearing a black, 25-liter ‘Ozark Trail Hiker Pack’ backpack,” the post noted.

While Cioni has not been named as a suspect, he’s been at the center of online speculations ever since former News Nation journalist Ashleigh Banfield reported on the possibility of him being one. Authorities had at that time quashed her claims. However, it later emerged that Cioni was the last person to see Guthrie before the 84-year-old was reported missing on February 1. He had reportedly dropped her off home after the latter had dinner with Cioni’s wife and Guthrie’s daughter, Annie.

Now, the new details about the suspect have left many wondering if Cioni matches the physical description.

Many online were left asking ‘how tall is Nancy Guthrie’s son in law’ after the FBI released the suspect details. An independent reporter claimed that Cioni was much taller than the 5’9” – 5’10” height details the agency shared.

However, another person shared a family photo and noted that Cioni appeared to be the same height as his sister in law, TODAY show host, Savannah Guthrie. As per reports, Guthrie is 5’10”. Cioni’s actual height was not accessible.

Yet another said “Savannah is 5’10. Still think Tommaso is much taller?”. Earlier too, when the video of the masked person was released, people on social media had speculated Cioni’s height to be around 5’10” and 6’0″.
