Ant McPartlin’s divorce papers confirm that the TV star admitted to adultery.
The 42-year-old was granted a divorce from his estranged wife Lisa Armstrong today, ending their marriage of 11 years.
The divorce papers signed by District Judge Jenkins at the Family Court at Central Family Court reveal that Ant admitted to adultery, based on him starting a relationship with Anne-Marie Corbett after he separated from Lisa, but when they were still legally married.
The papers – with Lisa Marie McPartlin cited as the petitioner and Anthony David McPartlin as the respondent – read: ‘The Judge held that the respondent has committed adultery and that the petitioner finds it intolerable to live with the respondent, that the marriage solemnised on 22nd July 2006 at St Nicolas’ Church in the Parish of Taplow in the County of Buckinghamshire between Lisa Marie McPartlin the Petitioner and Anthony David McPartlin the Respondent has broken down irretrievably and decreed that the said marriage be dissolved unless sufficent cause be shown to the Court within six weeks from the making of this decree why such decree should not be made absolute.’

Ant and Lisa will be allowed to apply for a decree absolute, which will officially and legally end their marriage, in six weeks.
The papers also reveal that an order that the Respondent shall pay the costs of the Petitioner has been permitted.
Ant and Lisa, 41, got married in 2006 after beginning their relationship in the mid 90s.
A statement from Ant’s rep in January read: ‘In response to the recent speculation in the media, Ant is very sad to announce that, after eleven years, he is ending his marriage to Lisa McPartlin.
‘Ant asks for privacy at this difficult time, for both himself, Lisa and their immediate families. No further statement will be made.’
Last year McPartlin entered rehab after struggling with a two-year addiction to super-strength painkillers following a knee operation in 2015.
Then in April he was banned from the road for 20 months and fined £86,000 for driving while more than twice the legal limit following a three-car smash in South West London earlier that month.
He later announced he was stepping back from TV commitments and will not appear on the next series of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, as well as Saturday Night Takeaway and the live shows of Britain’s Got Talent.
