Netflix is now the streaming home to seasons 1 to 3 of Sullivan’s Crossing, and the good news is that more is on the way. The bad news is that you’re going to have to wait quite some time before season 4 hits your screens.
Of course, this article only applies to Netflix in the US and to a lesser extent, Netflix Canada, which are the only two regions of Netflix currently carrying the show. Fingers crossed more areas pick up the show in due course. Netflix US picked up the show after Canada, but is the only region to have added season 3 so far, with those episodes landing on August 11th.
Since its arrival on Netflix in the US, the show has been a permanent fixture in the top 10s, with the show now having spent 35 days in the top 10s thus far and counting. Furthermore, it also featured in the global top 10s for two weeks in total with season 1 picking up over 5 million views.
In case you didn’t know, season 4 of the show was picked up by CTV, the Canadian broadcaster behind the show, in June 2025, with The CW announcing they had acquired the broadcast rights for the fourth season several weeks later.
Unlike seasons 1-3, of course, season 4 has yet to air and has only just recently begun filming in Halifax, in the Canadian province of Nova Scotia, on August 7th. It’s set to be in production for a few months with a tentative wrap set for November 25th, 2025. Roma Roth continues showrunning duties in season 4, with Jonathan Wright one of the confirmed directors next season.
So far, The CW has confirmed a 2026 release date, and based on prior seasons, it’s highly likely the series will be premiering sometime in the Spring (around March/April).

Speculating based on the fact that Netflix has not yet confirmed it’ll be carrying season 4 after its broadcast run, we suspect the show will indeed make its way over after it’s aired on The CW, akin to how their old output deal with Netflix worked. If it’s anything like season 3, we’ll be waiting a few months after the season finale premieres, which would be around Summer.
Should Netflix not pick up the rights to season 4, for which there’s no indication that they won’t, the streamer holds onto the show until at least August 2027.
We’ll keep you posted on any big updates regarding Sullivan’s Crossing as soon as we get them.
While you’re waiting, there are lots of adjacent shows currently streaming on Netflix. Of course, the biggest one is Virgin River, soon to be returning for season 7, given that it’s based on source material that comes from the same writer as Sullivan’s Crossing. Then you’ve got other titles like Dolly Parton’s Heartstrings, Sweet Magnolias, Firefly Lane, Ransom Canyon, and plenty of other feel-good shows to keep you occupied.
Are you looking forward to season 4 of Sullivan’s Crossing coming to Netflix?
