Tyler Perry’s hit show Beauty in Black finally returned with season 2 on September 11, but there are still more episodes on the way. Following Beauty in Black season 1, part 2’s shocking ending in March 2025, Netflix and Tyler Perry managed a miraculously quick turnaround with season 2, part 1 premiering just six months later.

Beauty In Black Season 2 Part 2 Isn’t Expected Until 2026

Currently, Netflix has yet to confirm Beauty in Black season 2, part 2’s release date. However, given the timeline between Beauty in Black season 1’s two-part releases, it’s expected that season 2’s remaining episodes will arrive in early 2026.

Beauty in Black season 1, part 1 debuted in late October 2024 with part 2 arriving less than five months later in early March 2025. If going by that gap, then Beauty in Black season 2, part 2 will most likely release in early February 2026, if not even slightly before in late January.

Of course, with no official confirmation from Netflix, it’s possible that the delay could be slightly longer for Beauty in Black season 2, part 2, or Tyler Perry could even surprise fans with an earlier drop. Considering Beauty in Black season 2, part 1’s September premiere wasn’t announced until July, we may not know part 2’s official release date until the end of 2025.

Beauty In Black Season 2 Part 2 Has 8 Episodes

Even though the release date is still unclear, one promising detail that’s been confirmed for Beauty in Black season 2, part 2 is that it will contain eight episodes. So far, all four parts of the Tyler Perry streaming TV show have included eight episodes each, which is an impressive number given some shows today have less than that in an entire season.

All eight episodes of Beauty in Black season 2, part 2 will drop at once on its premiere date, and are expected to maintain the series’ typical runtimes of approximately 45–60 minutes each. Sadly, however, there’s still no official word yet from Netflix about whether they’ll be followed by Beauty in Black season 3.

Considering how popular the series has been since its debut in 2024, it’d be surprising if Netflix didn’t issue another batch of episodes from Tyler Perry. Since confirmation about season 2 didn’t come until after the season 1 finale, we’ll likely have to wait until after Beauty in Black season 2, part 2 to learn whether season 3 is happening.
