CASTING SHOCK: Sullivan’s Crossing Season 4 shakes up everything as Maggie’s secret husband Liam steps into the spotlight — and he’s not the only new face joining the small-town drama.
From surprise arrivals to emotional reunions, here’s your first look at the cast lineup that’s set to make Season 4 the most dramatic chapter yet.

Season 4 of Sullivan’s Crossing will be picking up the pieces after Cal met Maggie’s secret husband — but who else is expected to appear?
Based on the book series by Robyn Carr, Sullivan’s Crossing centers around neurosurgeon Maggie (Morgan Kohan) after she moves back home to rural Nova Scotia to reconnect with her estranged father, Sully (Scott Patterson). The brief getaway turns into Maggie making plans for a future in Sullivan’s Crossing with love interest Cal (Chad Michael Murray).
Season 3 of the hit series, which started streaming on Netflix in August 2025, initially showed cracks in Maggie and Cal’s relationship when he wanted to take the next step but she didn’t. Elsewhere in the show, Maggie brought up her ex Liam (Marcus Rosner), a summer fling who seemed like a distant memory.
The rest of the season focused on Maggie and Cal getting to a place where they could move in together. But just as they thought they faced the biggest hurdle, a guest who checked in at Sullivan’s Crossing revealed himself to be Liam. He then shocked Cal by referring to himself as Maggie’s husband.
Showrunner Roma Roth teased what viewers could expect from the show moving forward.
“I’m absolutely thrilled that Sullivan’s Crossing is returning for a fourth season,” Roth said in a statement. “Seeing it resonate with a global audience and watching the ratings climb have been a dream come true. Season 4 will explore themes of change and transformation so you can expect a whole new set of exciting and emotional challenges for Maggie and Cal.”

Andrea Menard
Along with Frank, Menard’s Edna was unsure whether they would remain at the campground or if it was time to move on.
Scott Patterson

Season 3 ended with Sully headed to Ireland for an “extended” trip, but he will return.
Kate Vernon

Speaking of Sully’s trip: Since he traveled with girlfriend Helen, she is probably coming back to Sullivan’s Crossing at some point.
Dakota Taylor

Season 4 will presumably address Rafe and Sydney’s relationship issues.
Amalia Williamson

Lola is also figuring out the next steps in her relationship with Jacob (Joel Oulette).
Lindura

Sydney’s thoughts on marriage put her at odds with Rafe, which wasn’t fully resolved before season 4.
Marcus Rosner

Roth has teased what Liam’s arrival meant for Maggie and Cal.
“There’s never a dull moment at Sullivan’s Crossing,” she told Collider in July 2025. “A romance drama series needs to have push and pull between your characters … we’re going to have a pretty big shoe drop at the end of the season that we’ll get to see play out in season 4.”
