Rylan Clark and Rob Rinder have both reshared a message which teases ‘coming soon’ as fans will finally get to see what they got up to on their trip to India last year.
Fans were quick to take the pair on as a new TV duo after they were first seen joining forces for their own BBC Two show, Rob and Rylan’s Grand Tour.
The three-part series, which went down a storm with viewers, saw them visit some of Italy’s greatest art treasures in destinations such as Venice, Florence and Rome as they followed in the footsteps of 19th-Century romantic poet Lord Byron and other Grand Tourists.
The success of the show has since seen them be commissioned for second series and towards the end of last year, Rob and Rylan wrapped up a trip to India.
It was back in October 2024 that Rylan shared a beaming selfie of the pair and said: “So excited we’re back for season 2 and this time we’re off to INDIA.
“Bumped into each other yesterday and this is how excited we are. Thank you everyone that watched our show and we can’t wait until we get going for S2.”
He then jokingly promised: “I’ll try not to kill him.” And he didn’t as it was then the following month, in November, that they returned to the UK from India with Rylan saying of the trip: “A month in India. What an experience. Coming next year to @bbc and @bbciplayer.”

Now, it appears the trip is getting closer to airing as the BBC shared a new trailer. Alongside the post on Instagram, which has been reshared by Rylan and Rob, the caption read: “Following their Bafta-winning Grand Tour of Italy, Rob Rinder and Rylan are taking things to the next level and heading out of art galleries and into the teeming streets of one of the world’s oldest and greatest civilisations: India.
“But can the art and culture of India help them to lead better lives? Rob and Rylan’s Passage to India – coming soon to #iPlayer and #BBCTwo.”
And fans were quick to respond. @day.paula said: “I cannot wait!! Love the camaraderie between Rob and Rylan.” @lindyloo71 commented: “Can’t wait to see this!” @anthropologyforall wrote: “Passage to India will be absolutely hilarious!”
@jade_lee2025 replied: “Looks amazing – very funny.” @annt_855 posted: “Can’t wait , love the wonderful friendship you have.” @lloydllewellynjones added: “So glad you are doing more, Rob! I thought the Grand Tour was some of best tv I’ve ever seen!”
It comes after the pair appeared on This Morning together last year, with Rylan hosting and Rob a guest, and the conversation soon turned to Rylan and Rob’s close friendship as Rob joked: “Apparently online we are married. I just want to say, we aren’t married!”
He continued: “It’s kind of like a marriage isn’t it?” to which Rylan quipped: “Yeah, we row all the time and don’t sleep in the same bed!”
Rob then praised Rylan, and said: “I was so proud of Rylan throughout the whole process. Not just because of how piercingly intelligent he is, and I don’t think everybody gets that… But also so many of the encounters that we had both in India and in Italy were because he would connect with one of the experts and just say the best thing in the room… That’s kind of who he is.”
Rylan added: “We were mates but we weren’t friends. Now we’re best friends. Different coin but we fit together.”
