Stephen Mulhern is one of the UK’s most popular TV presenters, but he’s notoriously private about his personal life though he has given a rare insight into his sex life in the past
Stephen Mulhern is known for keeping his personal life under wraps. However, he did give a cheeky glimpse into his sex life during an interview with The Sun. The TV star, 47, has been a familiar face on our screens for over two decades. He’s hosted popular shows like Catchphrase, Deal or No Deal and Dancing on Ice, taking over from Phillip Schofield after he quit his ITV presenting duties.
Now he’s back with a brand-new series of Deal or No Deal which returns on Monday 28 October at 4pm, as a new batch of contestants prepare to go head to head with the notorious Banker.

Host Stephen said of series 2: “I am absolutely over the moon that Deal or No Deal is returning to our screens. The response has been incredible and series one was an absolute rollercoaster of emotions. I loved it!
“The contestants were a fantastic bunch facing the banker and our new batch of players need to hold their nerve if they want to walk away with the huge jackpot! It’s such a phenomenal show and I’m absolutely chuffed to bits that we’re going to be doing it all over again. I can’t wait to get back to that studio!”
Away from TV, details about Stephen’s love life are scarce, but it’s known that he once dated EastEnders actress Emma Barton, who played Honey Mitchell in the BBC soap. The pair were reportedly together from around 2008 to 2011, reports the Mirror.

When asked by The Sun back in 2020 about how much sex he was having, Stephen fired back with just two witty words, saying: “Not enough!”
In the same 2020 interview, when asked about the love of his life, Stephen didn’t name any romantic partners. Instead, he sweetly chose his sister Suzie, jokingly asking if that was a bit weird.
Once, during a Christmas episode of Saturday Showdown on CITV, Stephen was seen kissing long-time friend and co-host Holly. In a blast from the past clip, Stephen presented Holly with an elf hat adorned with mistletoe.

Reacting to her festive gift, an excited Holly exclaimed: “Hurray for me! I can kiss all of the boys in the world all of the time.”
Bursting into song, she continued: “Tis the season to kiss Holly, fa la la la la la la la la! ” Then he planted a kiss on his co-star, but she was quick to rebuff him. Then back in May, rumours circulated that Stephen might have been dating Josie Gibson, after they were spotted strolling along holding hands, with a body language expert saying it didn’t look platonic.

But Stephen then broke his silence about their alleged relationship when appearing on This Morning.
The picture of Josie and Stephen backstage at Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway holding hands was then shown. Stephen insisted: “Listen, she didn’t show up to rehearsals, I held her hand and I showed her where to stand. That is it!”
While in an exclusive interview with OK! Josie set the record straight, telling us that while she does ‘love’ the Catchphrase presenter, they are actually just friends.
