Will there be a season 6 of Emily in Paris?
There has been no official announcement of an Emily in Paris season 6. But season 5 has only just arrived, and it wasn’t announced until a month after season 4 was released. Netflix’s Ted Sarandos seems to be a huge fan of the show as well, telling Variety that his wife, Nicole, loves it too.

In an interview with Deadline in December 2025, showrunner Darren Star said there’s more of Emily’s story he is curious about. Season 5 ends with Miss Cooper receiving an invite to Greece from her on-again-off-again French boyfriend, Gabriel.
“I hope Emily says yes to that invitation,” Starr mused. “[Emily and Gabriel] reconnected in a nice way. [As for] where that takes them, I think it definitely hints at the idea that they’ll stay in each other’s lives.”
What would Emily in Paris season 6 be about?
Season 5 ends with Emily and her Italian boyfriend Marcello splitting up as he decides to stay in Italy to lead his family’s company. Emily returns to Paris, where she and Gabriel reconnect after Sylvie sends a sly text telling the French chef his gal is back in town—and single. He then invites her to Greece, setting the stage for yet another reunion between the pair. If season 6 gets greenlit, it might take place in yet another country and could potentially lead to Gabriel and Emily finally making things work.
There is also the tension between Mindy and Alfie, despite her engagement to Nico. Plus, for fans who prefer business intrigue over love triangles, Agence Grateau is now being run by Sylvie and Princess Jane, after the latter made a hefty investment in the company.
Who would be cast in Emily in Paris season 6?
Lily Collins would likely return as the titular character, as well as series regulars Ashley Park as Mindy, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu as Sylvie, Lucas Bravo as Gabriel, Samuel Arnold as Julian, Bruno Gouery as Luc, Lucien Laviscount as Alfie, and Paul Forman as Nicolas. Minnie Driver as Princess Jane would likely return as well. It’s unclear if Eugenio Franceschini as Marcello will have a regular place in the show now, but the series does love to keep Emily’s past boyfriends around.
