Ex-This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby is gearing up to work in Central America with Bear Grylls while her husband Daniel Baldwin remains in the UK.
Holly Willoughby is determined to get her career “back on track” following a “rollercoaster” year. However, her latest role could prove difficult for her family and “her rock”, husband Daniel Baldwin.
Last October, the 43-year-old followed in the footsteps of her former co-star Phillip Schofield and exited This Morning after 14 years at the helm. Following her high-profile departure, Holly briefly returned to ITV to front Dancing on Ice but is due to step away from the broadcaster soon.
It was revealed last month that the mum-of-three is moving to Netflix and teaming up with survival expert Bear Grylls, 49. The pair are contracted to head to Costa Rica to front the celebrity reality competition, Bear Hunt.
It’s been claimed that Holly is “torn” about the decision to move overseas but is determined to put her tumultuous year “behind her”. Regarding her latest career move, a source told OK! Magazine: “She’s going to miss Dan and the family, so was a bit torn about going back but she needs to get her career back on track and has to do this.
“They’re a really strong couple and they can do distance.” They added that Holly had received “quite a knock” after being trolled online and that her latest opportunity could be a “great new start”.

The East Sussex native and TV executive Daniel have been married since 2007 and share three children, Harry, 14, Belle, 12, and eight-year-old Chester.
Daniel, who met Holly on the kid’s TV show Ministry of Mayhem back in 2004, is best known for working on shows such as Celebrity Juice and Channel 4 game show Virtually Famous.
Unfortunately, his wife’s career woes began last May when her ex-This Morning co-star Phillip, 62, resigned from his position on the ITV mainstay.
At the time of his departure, he admitted to having an “unwise but not illegal” affair with a younger member of staff.
Former I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! presenter Holly remained to hold court on the sofa for five months before she also announced her resignation.
At the time, she took to social media and wrote: “I have let ITV know today that after 14 years, I will not be returning to This Morning.

“To everyone who has ever worked on the show over the years, thank you so so much.
“This is such a difficult goodbye, you are incredible and I forever will be proud of what we’ve done together. Thank you to everyone at ITV for being supportive.”
Following her shock exit, Kevin Lygo, managing director of media and entertainment at ITV said that the broadcaster “respected” her decision.
“She remains a much loved member of the ITV family and we look forward to continuing to work with her in the future,” he added.
In January, she returned to front Dancing on Ice with new presenter Stephen Mulhern, 47.
The latter took over the co-hosting role from Phillip after his exit from ITV.
