On Tuesday, Timpf shared that she and her husband Cameron Friscia welcomed their healthy baby boy to the world, but fifteen hours before, the new mom was diagnosed with stage zero breast cancer.
“Don’t freak out. It’s just, like, a little bit of cancer,” wrote the brave mom on Instagram.
Timpf described her fears as doctors told her she would likely have to get a double mastectomy as soon as possible just moments before going into labor.
But after giving birth, all she could think about was how grateful she was for the healthy baby boy that “might have saved my life.”
“Thank you all for your support, laughter, and love as I embrace this wildly unexpected chapter,” she said.
“Here’s to resilience, to miracles in the midst of chaos, and to finding humor and hope even on the toughest days.”
Since her emotional announcement, friends and Fox News coworkers have shared their support and congratulations.
Kennedy Montgomery, who is a cohost on Outnumbered and The Five, responded to Timpf’s news and described her coworker as “amazing in every way.”
“And you were heroic in labor given the day you’d just had! I love you,” she wrote on X.
“I love you forever,” responded an emotional Timpf.

NEW FAMILY
Timpf is an author, Fox News columnist, and co-host of the late-night comedy show Gutfeld!, but she got her start working in newsrooms.
After graduating from the exclusive conservative school Hillsdale College, Timpf went on to work as an editor for The Washington Times and as a radio news anchor.
She then moved on to Barstool Sports before joining Fox News in 2017.
Timpf met her husband Friscia, who’s an investment banker and Army veteran, in 2020, and the two were married the next year.
In a 2022 Instagram post, Timpf shared her love for her husband – but with a signature twist of humor.
“I never thought a finance bro could be so loving, giving, patient, and understanding, but you prove me wrong every day,” she said.
