Hulk Hogan‘s daughter, Brooke Hogan, will not be receiving an inheritance from her late father’s will following his passing at 71.

The legendary wrestler passed away last week, leaving a reported $25 million estate behind. However, reports suggest his daughter voluntarily removed herself from his beneficiary following the estrangement in 2023.

Brooke Hogan’s husband tried to mend the strained ties between father and daughter, especially after welcoming her twins earlier this year, but Hulk Hogan reportedly “responded coldly” and never met his grandkids until his death.

The reason Hulk Hogan’s daughter Brooke will not be receiving an inheritance has been revealed.

The former WWE superstar died last week after suffering fatal cardiac arrest, but before his death, he and his daughter’s relationship had fallen apart as she confirmed she had to “step away to protect my heart” in the final years of his life.

According to TMZ, Brooke proactively requested to be removed as a beneficiary of her father’s estate back in 2023, the same year they last spoke.

The TV personality reportedly had a deep distrust of the people surrounding Hogan and wanted to avoid being entangled in a messy legal battle over his finances after his death.

She had tried to mend their relationship and work out the issue between them, but after years of her efforts falling on deaf ears, Brooke contacted Hogan’s financial manager and asked to be excluded from his will.

Brooke is said to be heartbroken that her father didn’t trust her enough to have his best interests at heart, but was never motivated by money.

Although Brooke wouldn’t receive a dime from Hogan’s estate, which is reportedly worth $25 million and includes his trademarks, real estate, intellectual property, and other assets, she is still set to receive a modest sum from a separate life insurance trust in which she remains a beneficiary.

According to the reports, she’s grateful for the sum and would seemingly use it to fund her children’s college fees.

Brooke, who is married to former NHL player Steven Oleksy, welcomed twins, a boy and a girl, back in January.

However, Hogan never met them despite efforts from his son-in-law to mend his and his daughter’s strained ties.

The wrestling icon was said to have “responded coldly and never made an effort to meet Brooke’s kids,” per TMZ.

Brooke recently paid tribute to her father in an emotional Instagram post, addressing the public’s assumptions about their relationship and their familial feud.

In her post, she claimed that her and Hogan’s “bond has never broken” and that they “had a connection deeper than words.”

Brooke noted that her father’s death felt like “part of my spirit left with him” and that she’ll “never forget his scent.”

She then claimed they “never had a ‘big fight,'” explaining that it was a series of “private phone calls no one will ever hear, know, or understand.”

In her tribute, Brooke noted that things were seemingly fine between them and that she and her husband moved to Florida to be closer to him, but all of a sudden, “it was like there was a force field around him that I couldn’t get through.”

Brooke noted that Hogan decided to “walk the path that clearly tore at his spirit,” and that it resorted to several “respectful disagreements” that took a negative toll on her.

She added that all she ever wanted from him was “love,” “honesty,” and a “deep connection,” before going on to say that Hogan’s life was “one worth celebrating.”

Brooke then shared a carousel of several photos of her and the late star. The post included some of her childhood photos where she can be seen smiling with Hogan, as well as others where they both took a dip in the pool and enjoyed a boat ride.

In the caption, she wrote that Hogan was her “everything” and said that their bond was “eternal.”

Brooke Hogan And Her Mom, Linda, Are Seemingly Not On Good Terms

Hulk Hogan had Brooke as well as his son, Nick, with his ex-wife Linda, whom he was married to from 1983 to 2009.

He later married Jennifer McDaniel in 2010 until their divorce in 2021. The WWE legend eventually settled with Sky Daily in 2023, and the pair were married until his death.

According to the Daily Mail, Linda previously slammed Hogan as a “complete liar” and “sex addict,” but Brooke hit back at her, saying her father wasn’t the only reason behind the discord in their family, as she was “verbally and mentally abused” during her childhood.

Linda then slammed her daughter, branding Brooke a “narcissist” before revealing they’d not spoken in years.
