What Is Heartland Season 19 About?
When fans return to Heartland, they’ll be contending with a tug of war between the heart and what’s right. Amy (Amber Marshall) is giving love a chance, but balancing single motherhood with romance is no easy task. She will always put her daughter first, that’s not in question. However, figuring out how to navigate her commitment to Nathan (Spencer Lord) while his sister, Gracie (Krista Bridges), holds onto the feud between their families will be quite the feat.
Amy will also have to deal with her reputation as a horse trainer, taking a ding. The unexpected questioning of the profession she has dedicated her life to demands a fight to restore her good name. Meanwhile, Lou (Michelle Morgan) is determined to make her family a priority, but when a threat arises against the ranch, she’ll face a difficult choice. Will she be honest about the Pryce family’s business practices, or will she stay quiet for the sake of Amy’s new relationship? As for Jack (Shaun Johnston), a new ranch hand he hires is going to test his patience.
Amidst all the drama, the Bartlett-Fleming family will have to come together to stop outside forces from doing harm to their business. Doing so will require holding fast to their values, building a strong foundation for the future, and leaning on one another to weather this latest storm.

UP Faith & Family is kicking off their premiere of Heartland season 19 with a live, virtual event on Tuesday, November 4 at 8 p.m. ET via their streaming app. Their Heartland Watch Party is a chance for fans to enjoy the first episode together in a community-driven experience. Then on Thursday, November 6, the premiere will be widely available for subscribers to view.

Season 19 will have a total of 10 episodes. The first five will be released weekly on Thursdays through December 4 before a month-long hiatus. The back half of the season will premiere in January 2026. The season finale releases on February 5, 2026.

When Is Heartland Season 19 Coming To Netflix? (Speculation)
Heartland fans on Netflix will be in for a wait. According to What’s On Netflix, season 19 isn’t expected to land on the platform until 2027. This may not come as much of a surprise to subscribers waiting on season 18 to make its debut on the service. Season 17 arrived on Netflix in September. Season 18 will likely come in Summer 2026 at the earliest.
Per the outlet, this is due to UP Faith & Family’s first-window streaming rights for the series in the U.S. They typically run new seasons exclusively for a year before they make their way to Netflix. Heartland is expected to remain on Netflix at least until 2028.
