Eddie Hall, 30, lifted up Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield on This Morning
He beat 29 other men to win the World’s Strongest Man competition in 2017
Eddie said he ate 12,500 calories and two full English breakfasts every morning
Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield had a very peculiar start to This Morning on Wednesday.
The hosts started the programme by being lifted into the air simultaneously by the man named the strongest in the world last year.
Perched on Eddie Hall’s shoulders, Holly and Phil tried to keep their faces straight as they told viewers what was coming up on the ITV chat show. During his appearance on the show Eddie, 30, from Newcastle-under-Lyme, spoke about the training involved in becoming so buff, and revealed he eats 12,500 calories a day to maintain his 27 stone physique – before bending a frying pan with his bare hands to demonstrate his heft.

To viewers at home Holly and Phil looked as though they were standing with their arms around each other as they spoke about the schedule.
But when the camera zoomed out, it became clear they were actually perching on Hall’s shoulders – and clinging on to one another for balance.
Phil said: ‘Don’t forget we’ve got last year’s World’s Strongest Man as well.’
‘I cant wait to meet him as anyone seen him yet?’ Holly said.
