ITV fans were left astonished by Dermot O’Leary’s age as he celebrated his birthday live on air, revealing his secret to maintaining such a youthful appearance.

This Morning viewers were left in disbelief after discovering that Dermot O’Leary is 51 years old.
The revelation came during Friday’s (May 24) episode when the beloved presenter celebrated his birthday live on air.
The episode kicked off with blue confetti erupting around Dermot as Alison Hammond announced the milestone, with the This Morning crew pulling out all the stops to celebrate the occasion.
Alison set the tone by saying: “Do you know what? It’s a lovely age,” before playfully adding: “I’m still in my forties, darling!”
This episode marked Dermot’s first birthday where he chose to work.
Viewers quickly took to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) to express their amazement.
“No way he’s 51 omg he looks amazing,” one viewer commented.
Another echoed the sentiment, adding: “Dermot is 51 now? I remember his early days on Big Brother, god I feel old.”

Later in the programme, guest Ashley James remarked on his youthful appearance, sparking a discussion about his ageless look. Vanessa Feltz humorously added: “I always think you’re in the region of 27.”
When asked about his secret to maintaining such a youthful visage, Dermot credited his wife, Dee Koppang, for her support.

The happy couple tied the knot ten years after they first met in the beautiful Chiddingstone, Kent.
The private couple had a baby boy in 2020, in the midst of Covid. Their son is named Kaspar.
