Jackie O reveals the one thing she does rather than ‘ghosting’ potential romantic partners
Jackie ‘O’ Henderson is one of Australia’s most eligible bachelorettes.
But if you want to date Jackie, 50, you’ll have to get used to the idea that she’ll say it how it is.
The radio star revealed on her KIIS FM radio show, The Kyle and Jackie O Show on Tuesday, that she won’t ghost anyone she dates, but she will tell them upfront why she’s not moving forward with them if she doesn’t see a future. Jackie explained that she thought it was best to be upfront and honest, but her exact phrase she uses surprised her co-host Kyle Sandilands and newsreader Brooklyn Ross.
“Because usually I would say the majority of the time, for me, it is the romantic spark is missing. So, I tell them that,” she said. “It is the romantic spark is missing. And so, I tell them that,” she said. (Her Best Life Podcast/ YouTube)
While there’s nothing negative about Jackie’s words, it didn’t sit well with Ross or Sandilands.
“That’s really harsh!” Ross said.
Sandilands added: “If I received a message like that from anyone I was pursuing, it would be devastating. I don’t think I’d ever get over it. Ever… men are softer than you think.”
“I feel so bad now,” she added.
Jackie said that she finds the method much more preferable to ghosting, being the abrupt and often unexplained end to all communication with someone.
“I can’t imagine ghosting somebody. I’d feel terrible,” she said.

It comes after Jackie cleared up dating rumours and said she’s “single,” despite being spotted on a walk with footy star Adam Muir, 53.
“But no, I’m still single, Ally. So, I don’t know,” she said on her Kyle and Jackie O Show to Nine’s Ally Langdon.
