Billy Bob Thornton, Demi Moore and More ‘Landman’ Stars Reveal Who From the Cast Is Returning for Season 3
From Billy Bob Thornton to Ali Larter, these stars have confirmed Season 3 return to the Taylor Sheridan drama—see who
It’s been over a week since Landman Season 2 finished airing on Paramount+, and while there isn’t a lot of Season 3 news available yet, there is news on which of the cast members will and won’t be returning. From Billy Bob Thornton to Demi Moore, these A-list actors haven’t been shy about discussing the Season 3 cast. To discover what they have to say, read on.
Billy Bob Thornton as Tommy Norris

Since Tommy Norris is considered to be the show’s main character, it makes total sense that Thornton will return for Season 3 of Landman, even though there was some speculation a little while ago suggesting that wasn’t the case.
“There’s an AI report that Demi and I are a couple now, and there’s one that I’m leaving the show,” Thornton told USA Today earlier this month. “They have nothing to do with reality.”
“It’s been great working with Sam [Elliott]. And I love doing the show,” he continued. “I’ll be here as long as it plays out. If it’s five years, great. If it’s six, I’m there.”
Ali Larter as Angela Norris
To no one’s surprise, Ali Larter—who plays Tommy’s ex-wife-turned-fiancé Angela—is expected to return for Landman Season 3.
“Thank you to everyone that watched Season 2 of Landman! Thank you for breaking us through the noise and coming along on the journey of the Norris family and our world set deep in the heart of Texas. We love making this show for you. It’s a true collaboration of so many talented people that come together to make Landman,” the actress wrote on Instagram earlier this month.
“When I meet you, I see the sparkle in your eyes. I love that we ignite a flame in you, and that our show makes you feel so deeply. I love that you connect with our unabashedly bold characters!” Larter continued. “Truly, thank you for showing up and loving our show. See you for Season 3.”
Michelle Randolph as Ainsley Norris
Where there’s Angela, there’s her daughter Ainsley, and because of that, it makes total sense that Michelle Randolph has confirmed that she will be returning for Season 3.
“Until next time,” the actress teased on Instagram.
We just hope we get to see more of college Ainsley in Season 3. Now that would be fun!
Jacob Lofland as Cooper Norris
Given how Cooper’s storyline ended in Season 2—no spoilers—actor Jacob Lofland must return for Season 3 of Landman. He even teased a potential storyline for the upcoming edition to Us Weekly earlier this month.
“Hopefully we possibly get back to the oil and do some stuff like that next season. Just really in the patch and working,” he teased. “Taylor [Sheridan] always surprises us, so I try not to have too many ideas in my head. I trust the process, but I’m just looking forward to getting the scripts and seeing where we go all together.”
“There’s so many directions we could go in season 3 that I’m really not sure. There’s going to be roadblocks and bumps throughout it because nothing can be perfect. There’s a lot up in the air that we’re waiting to find out,” he continued.
Sam Elliott as T.L. Norris

Of course, Sam Elliott is returning as T.L. Norris in Season 3! In fact, he even teased to Extra TV in November 2025, per US Weekly, when filming started.
“I’m excited to see what unfolds in Season 3,” the actor said. “I mean, we’re talking about Season 2, but that’s the backstory for us at this point. We’re all kind of looking toward April and May [of 2026] when we start shooting Season 3.”
Demi Moore as Cami Miller

While Moore herself hasn’t confirmed if she will be returning as Cami Miller, co-creator Christian Wallace did tease to The Hollywood Reporter that he and Sheridan had talked about it.
“I think there are so many different opportunities and ways this can play out. At the end of the day, I’m putting my trust in Taylor and his decisions for all of these characters’ storylines. That one is above my pay grade,” Wallace said.
When and where to watch ‘Landman’ Season 3
Fans of the West Texas oil drama can rest easy: Paramount+ officially renewed Landman for a third season in late 2025. While a specific release date hasn’t been confirmed, production is expected to begin in early 2026, putting the Season 3 premiere on track for November 2026. This follows the show’s established annual release pattern. You can watch the new season exclusively on Paramount+ or through the Paramount+ add-on channel on platforms like Prime Video and Apple TV. In the meantime, the first two seasons are available for streaming now, so you can catch up on all the drama before the series returns.
