Lisa Armstrong has posted another cryptic quote on social media after her ex husband Ant McPartlin announced the news he has become a dad for the first time with his current wife Anne-Marie Corbett.
The couple, who wed in 2021 – just three years after his split from wife of 11 years Lisa – took to Instagram to share the news, posting an adorable black and white snap of Ant, 48, cradling the newborn. They said: “Welcome to the family. Wilder Patrick McPartlin. Born, 14/05/24 at 8.54am. Baby is beautiful, Mummy’s a legend, Sisters are over the moon. Dad’s a mess.”
Around the same time as his post, Lisa took to her Instagram Story to share a post from another page. It included a quote that read: “Be proud of how you have been handling these past few months. The silent battles you’ve fought, the moments you’ve had to humble yourself, the times you’ve wiped your own tears. Celebrate your strength.”
And now, Lisa has shared a message that refers to “lies.” On her Instagram stories, Lisa – who is head of make-up and hair on Strictly Come Dancing – included a quote that read: “I no longer listen to what people say, I just watch what they do. Behaviour never lies.”
She also uploaded a photo that showed four dogs in the back of a car. One of them is believed to be labrador Hurley, whom Lisa is understood to share with her now ex-husband Ant. She wrote in the caption of the post: “Got the band back together.”
This comes after Ant also shared a touching picture of his tattoo that is a tribute to Ant-Marie and her two daughters – Daisy and Poppy.
In the image, Ant’s tattoo shows a huge blossoming tree with the names – Amzie (presumably for his wife of three years Anne-Marie), his two step daughters, Daisy and Poppy, and Ant’s two pooches – Milo and Bumble.
However, some eagle-eyed fans noticed the lack of a mention for Hurley. Ant quickly reassured then though and said his name simply wasn’t visible in the photograph.
Lisa shared another cryptic quote
The TV star took to social media and said: “Hey all, I just wanted to say thank you so much for the kind messages of love and well wishes for our baby Wilder.
“Glad you loved the tattoo as well. For all you dog lovers who asked why my beloved Hurley wasn’t on the family tree… he was!! He was just covered by our newborn.
Lisa shared a post about the gang being ‘back together’
“All my love, gratitude and heartfelt thanks,” McPartlin continued and shared a full picture of his shoulder tattoo which shows a section on the bottom left side for Hurley.
