Since Adolescence was released a few weeks ago, its story and important message has been everywhere. Whether you’re in the pub or on the bus, there is literally someone always talking about it. As of this week, Adolescence is available in all secondary schools in the UK to help educate children.

After seeing the casts incredible performances on screen, it’s understandable that we all have an interest in their real lives, and their relationships. So here is a deep dive into the Adolescence cast love lives.

Stephen Graham – Eddie Miller

Not only is Stephen Graham married, but he is married to co-star Hannah Walters. For any big Graham fans (I would put myself at the top of this list), you will notice that often Walters and Graham co-star together, including in Boiling Point and Time. Hannah and Steven got married in 2008, and have two children together and the family have starred on Gogglebox together.

The pair founded Matriarch Productions in 2020 with the aim of “providing a much needed platform for underrepresented voices and stories in the UK.” It also aims to offer opportunities for new talent in front and behind the camera, including Owen Cooper’s breakout as Jamie Miller in Adolescence.

Ashley Walters – Detective Inspector Luke Bascombe

This is going to break the heart of any big Dushane fans, and who can blame you – we all love a bad boy. Ashely Walters is currently married to actress Danielle Isaie, who you may recognise from Chewing Gum, and briefly from both Gavin and Stacey and Top Boy.

The pair met in 2011, just as Ashley’s career on Top Boy was taking off, and after two years of dating the pair married in a private ceremony in London.

Erin Doherty – Briony Ariston

Erin Doherty’s incredible performance as Jamie’s psychologist left us all amazed, proven by the 9.2 rating on IMDb. In her personal life, Erin is single, but previously dated fellow actress Sophie Melville.

On the How to Fail podcast with Elizabeth Day, Erin opened up about how she didn’t fully accept or realise she was gay until she began a “mind-blowing” relationship with a woman when she was in her mid twenties.

Faye Marsay – DS Misha Frank

Faye Marsay has had a very impressive acting career and has starred in shows including Ten Pound Poms alongside Michelle Keegan, Lady Chatterley’s Lover and Doctor Who.

Faye’s relationship status is mysterious, and it remains unknown if she is single or in a relationship.

Mark Stanley – Rochenda Sandall

Mark is reported to be in a long tern relationship with Rochenda Sandall, a British actress, after they met on the show Criminal: UK.

Rochenda has played roles in a number of shows, including Doctor Who, Amandaland, and Small Axe and the pair have been together since 2020.

Jo Hartley – Mrs Fenumore

We can’t look at the Adolescence cast love lives without delving into the life of Jo Hartley.

Jo is not married and has no publicly known husband, but is incredibly close with Michael Smiley, whom she considers a “big brother”, and they have a close, supportive relationship.

Christine Tremarco – Manda Miller

Playing the wife of Eddie and mother of Jamie and Lisa, Christine is not currently known to be married. Alongisde her role in Adolesence, she’s also starred in Emmerdale.
