When I say that Jack McEvoy is missing from The Lincoln Lawyer, I don’t mean that he has a significant role in the books but not the show. That’s the case with Harry Bosch. In contrast, Jack McEvoy’s only appearance in The Lincoln Lawyer books is as a minor character in The Brass Verdict. His absence doesn’t actually impact the story very much.
