Wednesday and Enid are both a bit older in Wednesday season 2, so naturally, they have changed and progressed a bit as characters. As a result, their friendship has changed as well, and while they remain committed to each other, they do have more of a divide than in season 1.

On Wednesday’s side, her vision of Enid’s death is a primary driving factor for the character this season. She is worried about her friend and fears that anything that happens to Enid could be her fault. While she is distancing herself from Enid, Wednesday is also turning to Agnes to help solve the avian mystery, making Enid feel left out.

Any potential for a romantic connection between Enid and Wednesday in season 2 is also hindered by Enid’s new love triangle. After beginning to date Ajax in season 1, Enid develops feelings for Bruno in season 2.
