Prince William Reportedly Makes ‘Very Firm Decision’ to Not Allow Ex-Prince Andrew Around His Family

When it comes to Andrew Mountbatten Windsor, Prince William is no longer playing nice.

According to a Sunday, March 15, report in journalist Rob Shuter’s Naughty But Nice Substack, the Prince of Wales, 43, has made “a very firm decision” to not allow his disgraced uncle, 66, around wife Princess Kate and their children “again,” a royal insider claimed.

“That door is completely closed,” the insider explained.

It’s been widely reported that the father of three — who shares Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7, with the Princess of Wales, 44 — has had a strained relationship with the former Prince Andrew for years, but it appears things have become worse following his uncle’s recent arrest.

Though Andrew has consistently denied wrongdoing and maintained his innocence regarding his ties to late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, he was accused of sharing confidential information with the financier related to his role as a trade envoy.

The Thames Valley Police launched an inquiry into the former Duke of York after it was reported that emails suggest the father of two sent Epstein reports from a tour of Southeast Asia he took in 2010, and Andrew was arrested on February 19.

According to one of Shuter’s sources, “William’s priority is protecting Catherine and the children. He doesn’t want them anywhere near the controversy surrounding Andrew.”

Though Andrew has relocated from Royal Lodge to Sandringham Estate after King Charles III stripped him of his royal titles and honors, if he turns up at any royal gatherings, William allegedly plans to keep his distance.

“If Andrew is present, William, Catherine and the children won’t be,” the source claimed. “It’s that simple.”

“When the time eventually comes for King Charles’s funeral, William does not want Andrew there,” the source alleged. “He doesn’t want that shadow anywhere near Catherine or his children.”

“Catherine and the kids come first,” the source added. “Andrew is out of their world for good.”

Following Andrew’s arrest, Charles, 77, said via a statement issued from Buckingham Palace that authorities have the royal family’s “full and wholehearted support and co-operation” throughout an investigation.
