The ‘Reacher’ spinoff series has a whole team.
After Reacher Season 3 concludes, Jack Reacher’s best pal, Frances Neagley (Maria Sten) will continue in her own kickass TV series. After Sten revealed that the new series just started filming, Prime Video has confirmed the series has an official title, and that the cast will be an ensemble, consisting of a ton of allies for Neagley.
According to a new press release straight from Amazon, the new series will be called Neagley, and in addition to Sten reprising her role from Reacher, the rest of the cast was confirmed, too.
Neagley cast revealed
Here’s who is joining Sten in her new adventures as Frances Neagley:
Greyston Holt (Night Agent) as “Detective Hudson Riley”
Jasper Jones (King Ivory) as “Keno”
Adeline Rudolph (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina) as “Renee”
Matthew Del Negro (Mayor of Kingstown, City on a Hill) as “Pierce Woodrow”
Damon Herriman (Justified, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood) as “Lawrence Cole”
In addition, Prime Video has confirmed that the Neagley will differ from the Reacher format insofar as the majority of the show sounds like it will take place in Chicago, or at least, start there.
“In the series, Frances Neagley is a private investigator in Chicago. When she learns that a beloved friend from her past has been killed in a suspicious accident, she becomes hell-bent on justice,” the official synopsis reads. “Using everything she’s learned from Jack Reacher and her time as a member of the 110 Special Investigators, Neagley puts herself on a dangerous path to uncover a menacing evil.”
In speaking with Men’s Journal, Sten confirmed that the new series won’t be based on existing Reacher stories, but instead, will forge a new path. “What we’re doing is brand new and original,” she said.
