SHOW HALTED: Beyoncé Stops Houston Concert After Shocking Mid-Air Mishap on ‘Cowboy Carter’ Tour — What Happened Has Fans Gasping 😱🎤🚨

“Stop! Stop, stop, stop, stop,” the singer said.

HOUSTON – A mid-air stunt went awry during Beyoncé’s “Cowboy Carter” tour stop in her hometown of Houston when the flying car she was performing on began to tilt while suspended above the crowd.

The incident is being described as a “technical mishap” by Parkwood Entertainment, Beyoncé’s company and the operator of her tour.

This happened during night one of her two scheduled tour stops at NRG Stadium.

“Tonight in Houston, at NRG Stadium, a technical mishap caused the flying car, a prop Beyoncé uses to circle the stadium, and see her fans up close, to tilt,” the production company said in a post on Instagram. “She was quickly lowered, and no one was injured. The show continued without incident.”

The Houston native was performing her song “16 Carriages” while riding a flying car suspended by cables when the vehicle began to tilt unexpectedly while overtop of her fans on the floor of NRG Stadium.

Despite the technical issue, Beyoncé remained composed and continued singing before eventually calling out, “Stop! Stop! Stop! Stop! Stop!”

She was safely brought back to the ground, and the performance resumed without further incident. The remainder of the show continued smoothly.
