Since its premiere on May 22, the Netflix series Sirens has ranked among the most-watched titles in the platform’s Top 10. Many fans are wondering if the story will continue; here’s what the platform has said and what Sirens season 2 could be about.
Will there be a Sirens Season 2 on Netflix?
Although Netflix has not made an official statement about a second season, it seems the creative team originally intended the story to be a limited series. However, some comments from the cast suggest there may be room for a continuation if enough interest arises.
Therefore, given its success, it wouldn’t be surprising if a new season is announced in the near future. Still, we’ll have to wait for an official update from the platform.

What will happen in Sirens season 2?
At the end of the first season, Simone refuses to leave everything she has achieved behind and return home to care for her ailing father. In a desperate move, she reveals to Peter Kell the existence of the photo Michaela has been hiding—one that could be used against him at any time.
Peter’s decision to abandon Michaela and replace her with Simone makes it clear that neither of them truly holds power on that island. While the story appears to have a conclusive ending, a second season could explore what comes next: Michaela’s life after leaving her legal career behind, or what happens to Devon when she returns home and leaves her sister to face the consequences of her choices.
When will Sirens season 2 be released on Netflix?
If it moves forward, the second season of Sirens could arrive in 2027 or sometime in 2028, considering filming and production timelines. In the meantime, if you haven’t watched the first season yet, all episodes are now available on Netflix.
What is the Netflix series Sirens about?
