Stephen Graham has been an established actor for years, and now after the success of Netflix’s new show Adolescence, his net worth has never looked so healthy.
Stephen is a giant of British television with literal decades of experience under his belt. His career began in 1990 when he appeared in minor roles in Dancin’ Thru the Dark and TV’s Children’s Ward. Since then, he’s been in dozens of projects ranging from blockbusters such as Pirates of the Caribbean to TV shows like Boardwalk Empire.
Though all of his roles are standout, his most successful projects are undoubtedly the smaller British titles such as Boiling Point, The Walk-In, and most recently, Netflix’s Adolescence.

According to Theatre News, lead actors in UK dramas typically earn between £15,000 and £50,000 per episode. For Adolescence, they estimated Stephen Graham’s pay to be somewhere between £30,000 and £50,000 per episode. With four episodes in the limited series, that would put his total pay at around £200,000.
Meanwhile, Ashley Walters was reportedly paid up to £35,000, Faye Marsay up to £25,000, and rising star Owen Cooper around $10,000.
His finances have been supported by his production company
In 2020, Stephen Graham and his wife Hannah Walters started their own production company called Matriarch Productions. They seek to uplift voices not usually greenlit for high-profile ventures and so far that has sparked the creation of A Thousand Blows, Boiling Point, Adolescence, and POP.
They’ve also worked in other forms of media, producing Sam Fender’s music video for Spit Of You.
In 2023 they also signed a development and production partnership with Warp Films, the company behind Stephen’s breakout role in This Is England.

What’s his net worth in 2025?
According to the MailOnline, Stephen Graham raked in £5 million from March 2023 to the end of March 2024, double what he made the previous year. Similarly, his Gralf Ltd production company had £3 million in reserves according to Companies House.
