The Summer I Turned Pretty (TSITP) on Amazon Prime Video is coming to a head this week, as the story hits a crucial point as some fans want to know how it will all end.

Last week Conrad (played by Christopher Briney) confessed his undying love for Belly (Lola Tung) after learning her fiancé and his brother Jeremiah (Gavin Casalegno) had cheated on her.

Despite already confessing to Taylor (Rain Spencer) that it’s “always” been Conrad that she pictured at her wedding, Belly lied and told him that she only had eyes for Jeremiah. Ahead of episode eight of TSITP, fans have been furiously predicting how the next instalment will be going down on Reddit.

One fan posted on the site: “I am hoping next episode is one of the longer ones and they combine the rehearsal dinner and wedding so we can get to the Paris content.”

While a second added: “i came here to say i hope this too but i was just rereading the book where the shows left off and i bet they’ll break it into two my prediction: episode 8- day before the wedding (Taylor confronting conrad, conrad confronting belly, belly telling Jer, rehearsal dinner) episode 9- wedding and immediate aftermath [sic].”

A third person shared their predictions: “Could next ep be a supersized one? I could see it ending with her landing in Paris or going or whatever.

An eagle-eyed fan Redditor noted: “Next ep on imdb has production management listed as Paris?? Does that mean Paris is next ep? [sic].”

Someone else added: “i know a lot of people predicted we’d get a dream sequence in episode 7 but i think episode 8 will start off with one (where she imagines conrad at the altar). i think that’s when belly will realize that it’s not just “wedding stress”, but instead her being in two minds. she’ll try to ignore it throughout the rehearsal dinner, but then jeremiah will do something on the morning of the wedding that makes her snap completely and call things off [sic].”

Along with the theories predicting Jeremiah and Belly would be calling off their wedding and a huge fallout between the two brothers, many fans are begging co-showrunner and creator Jenny Han for one big thing.

Another express similar sentiments: “real pls free me from jelly completely [sic].” A third added: “I AM SO DONE PLS FREE US JENNY HAN [sic].”

Given TSITP TV series has been very faithful to the source material, it looks like fans could be right about the next episode seeing the conclusion to Belly’s impending nuptials.
