This Morning star Cat Deeley teased a “huge exclusive” near the end of the latest episode of the ITV show

This Morning star Cat Deeley teased a “huge exclusive” near the end of the latest episode of the ITV show but claimed she was unable to share information until the following day.

On Wednesday (February 26), Cat was back with host Ben Shephard for another jam-packed show.

But at the end of the programme, the 48-year-old host shared some exciting news that fans will have to wait for.

She said: “Plus we’ve got an exclusive so huge, we can’t even talk about it.” Chiming in, Ben asked whether the exclusive was regarding a segment that took place earlier in the show.

To which Cat teased: “We’ll reveal all tomorrow.”

The news comes after This Morning came under fire from viewers once again as many claimed it had “lost its sparkle”.

The popular daytime TV show faced a wave of backlash from viewers who took to social media after another “boring” edition.

Many viewers were put off by the content, which revisited topics like weight loss injections and featured a jigsaw competition. The frustration grew when two professional puzzlers competed against the clock to complete a challenging jigsaw puzzle, leaving some viewers dissatisfied.

The episode also included a segment with a gadget expert demonstrating cleaning products and chef Donal Skehan preparing a simple six-ingredient banoffee pie. This Morning's hosts Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley

Despite the mix of content, viewers voiced their disappointment, with some suggesting the producers “had run out of ideas,” while others hinted they might “stop watching” the show altogether.

Meanwhile, another wrote: “It’s no wonder people are switching off, and #thismorning is no longer winning awards!”

While another viewer added: “#ThisMorning F****** jigsaws! They’ve run out of material, haven’t they.”

Although there were an avalanche of complaints, some viewers were pleased with the content on offer. The mood from viewers changed when actor Stephen McGann from Call The Midwife came on to chat with Ben and Cat.

“Stephen McGann is looking very well. God Love him,” one fan expressed, while another shared: “This morning, Oh, I learnt something new today; his wife writes it #callthemidwife.”

This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV.
