Savannah Guthrie Reportedly ‘Devastated’ By What Missing Mom’s Home Has Turned Into
Savannah Guthrie has reportedly been left devastated by what has become of her missing mom’s Tucson home, as social media influencers and true crime enthusiasts have taken over to shoot content.
Savannah’s mom, Nancy’s whereabouts remain unknown, and the authorities have since moved many operatives from the ground in Tucson to their larger office in Phoenix for operations to continue.
Amid the continued search, Savannah Guthrie is looking to get back to work, but reports claim some of her colleagues hope she doesn’t.

Just how much Savannah Guthrie and her family’s life has been impacted by her mom Nancy’s disappearance cannot be ascertained for sure, but one thing is clear, and it is that their lives would never be the same.
According to reports, the famous TV presenter has been left seething after Nancy’s home was turned into a full-blown circus as social media influencers, amateur detectives, and true crime enthusiasts have since swarmed it to create content and chase views.
“Savannah is devastated. She’s praying for answers, and instead her mother’s home has become a circus,” a source told journalist Rob Shuter, per reports.
In fact, there have been talks of dismantling Nancy’s home as the incident with influencers turning the property upside down has left the TV presenter upset.
“Right now that house feels like the scene of a crime, not a family home,” the source added. “The idea of tearing it down has come up simply because the memories there are becoming unbearable.”

The search for Nancy has since crossed the one-month mark, yet no viable lead has been found.
The 84-year-old is believed to have been abducted from her Tucson, Arizona, home in the early hours of February 1, and was reported missing after failing to attend church, with investigators finding evidence of forced entry and a staged, involuntary disappearance from her home.
A masked and “armed individual” was seen over her Ring surveillance clip, with several DNA samples picked from the scene, but all that has managed to do is lead investigators to dead ends.
The incident has remained a prominent feature in the news for the past month, with many internet users coming up with conspiracy theories and authorities receiving over 1,500 tips.
However, Savannah is only focused on bringing her mom home safely and supporting her family in whatever way she can while tuning out the noise online about the case.
“All she wants is her mother found,” an insider noted. “Every online headline, every camera pointed at that house just makes the nightmare feel bigger.”
The Journalist Plans To Return To Work, As Report Claims Some Of Her Colleagues Might Not Want Her Back

Savannah has remained off the airwaves since her mom went missing, but is reportedly gearing up to make a return.
She recently traveled to New York and visited her colleagues at “Today,” but reports claim some hoped she’d never come back.
According to the Daily Mail, multiple sources shared that some staff were frustrated after bosses at the news network announced that Savannah planned to resume work soon.
“It’s a viper’s nest,” one source told the news outlet. “Even if you’re suffering.”
“You think ‘The Morning Show’ is bad? That’s nothing,” a second source added. “These people will steal your chair while you’re still sitting in it. From the hair and makeup people to the producers, you can’t trust anyone; they all talk.”
Jenna Bush Hager Addressed Savannah Guthrie’s Possible Return

The report also claimed that production staff were more relaxed throughout Savannah’s hiatus and preferred Hoda Kotb, who has filled in for her former colleague.
During Thursday’s broadcast of “Today With Jenna & Sheinelle,” Jenna Bush Hager and Sheinelle Jones addressed Savannah’s visit.
“She is beyond loved here,” Hager said. “So we’re happy she’s home.”
Hager continued, “I don’t know when she’s actually returning to the show. But she was here, and that felt so good to get to hug her.”
Former FBI Agent Suspects Nancy Guthrie Was A Victim Of Elder Abuse

A former FBI special agent, Maureen O’Connell, and Jim Clemente recently weighed in on the possibility that Savannah’s mother, Nancy, was a victim of elder abuse during Sunday’s episode of the “Brian Entin Investigates” podcast.
“When you have older parents, and I think a lot of people can relate to this, you know, there’s a lot of people coming in and out of the house,” Entin said, per Parade. “Whether it be healthcare workers or people helping clean up, or helping your loved one shower, that kind of thing.”
He then asked his guests if elder abuse should be considered amid the ongoing investigations.
“Absolutely,” Clemente replied. “I think every single person who had even a tangential relationship to Nancy Guthrie. Anybody who worked on the house, on the yard, on the pool. Anybody who worked in the house repairing things, delivering things, even driving her in an Uber or a Lyft, all of those people should be looked at.”
He added, “Because that could have been the nexus that allowed them to understand that she was living alone and that she was vulnerable.”
