Anthony Bridgerton and the Duke of Hastings are (mostly) back at it.
Reuniting with Jonathan Bailey, who appeared in Season 2, Regé-Jean Page was in Milan shortly after reports surfaced that he would be returning for Season 3 of Bridgerton. At the Armani Men’s Spring 2023 fashion presentation, Page—who played Simon, the Duke of Hastings in season one—and Bailey, who portrays Anthony Bridgerton, posed for images together.
Bailey has been seen at a slew of recent fashion events, including the Brunello Cucinelli Summer Dinner and a Santoni show, while Page is the new face of the Armani Code fragrance.
They were clearly overjoyed to be seeing one other again as they strolled around Milan. Friends since their time at Oxford, they play the roles of Simon and Anthony in the Bridgerton universe. The relationship in the first season is heavily influenced by their friendship: Following his discovery of Simon and Daphne in a private setting, Anthony makes it clear that the Duke must wed his sister. They agree to a duel date after Simon declines. Daphne intervened just before they were about to duel, and Simon and she ended up being married.
Recently, there have been more reunions involving the Bridgerton actors. Page and Phoebe Dynevor were both seen at the May Met Gala. “Man, we’ve gone a long way since that first chemistry read in LA, Mr. @regejean,” Dynevor said on Instagram. Attendees at the 2022 Met Gala, including other Bridgerton stars Nicola Coughlan and Simone Ashley, fully grasped the concept of the “Gilded Glamour” motif. Because of his performance in a West End show, Bailey was unable to attend the fashion event.
Production on Bridgerton’s third season is ongoing, and the prequel about Queen Charlotte is also shooting, so it’s possible that they’ll all be back on set soon (with the exception of Page, who is supposed to return).
