While known for his contributions to the band Maroon 5, Adam Levine showcased his talents across more than just the airwaves. Throughout his career in music, Levine not only released seven studio albums with the group, but he also appeared in films like Fun Mom Dinner, Begin Again, and even the series American Horror Story. Outside the studio and silver screen, the singer spent years as a coach on the NBC show The Voice. While eventually leaving the show, it seems the hitmaker will return once again for season 27. And knowing his way around the set, Levine is offering up a few suggestions.
When the new season of The Voice kicks off, the veteran coach will take the stage alongside John Legend, Kelsea Ballerini, and Michael Bublé. Although loving the lineup of coaches and excited to get back to the show, an insider told Like & Style, “Adam has got some ideas, and he’s not afraid to share them, especially when it comes to his fellow coaches.”
Meaning Behind “You’re in My Heart’ by Rod Stewart and the Famous Girl Who Inspired It
With the new lineup of coaches bringing a fresh look to The Voice, the insider noted how Levine wanted to bring back another veteran coach, Blake Shelton. “Adam would love it if Blake Shelton came back. He knows that their bromance would make headlines again and boost ratings.” They added, “Adam is definitely stirring the pot!”
Adam Levine Heads To ‘The Voice’ As Blake Shelton Embraces Fatherhood
Although Levine hopes to bring Shelton back, the country singer seems to be enjoying his life with his children and wife Gwen Stefani. Speaking with ET, Shelton discussed his role as a father and how much it meant to him. “I get to teach them the country, you know, and I love that. Whether it’s music, whether it’s literally getting out, getting their hands in the dirt or being out on the ranch, seeing the animals, whatever, you know? I absolutely love being the person that gets to introduce them to that stuff.”
While taking his seat on The Voice, it appears Levine will have to wait a little longer before he is reunited with Shelton. But that doesn’t mean the production doesn’t have something in the works.
