The Levitt AMP Selma Music Series starts on Saturday night at the Riverfront Amphitheater and Park. Element XI, a musical group, gets the concert series underway at 8 p.m. Two weeks later on June 22, “The Voice” winner Asher HaVon will perform. The concert series, which is supported by the Mortimer & Mimi Levitt Foundation, is free to attend. A total of 11 concerts will be held on the second and fourth Saturdays of each month until October 26. The Levitt AMP Selma Music Series is a great chance for us to experience joy, get on our feet to dance and to focus on all the positive things, all the wonderful assets we have in our historic city. The concerts are a chance for us to relax and just be.”
