With newcomers Michael Bublé and Snoop Dogg joining veteran coaches Reba McEntire and Gwen Stefani, The Voice is off to a rollicking start for season 26. We’ve already seen competition heating up, with coaches blocking one another and deploying the brand-new Replay button. And judging by a preview released Friday (Oct. 11), the coaches are sure to fight over Cameron Wright after their show-stopping performance of Barbra Streisand’s “The Way We Were.”
‘The Voice’ Viewers Go Crazy For “Perfect” Performance
The Blind Audition process continues on season 26 of The Voice. While some contestants have nearly reached the final note by the time they receive one chair turn, there are also performances like Cameron Wright’s. The Minneapolis gospel singer hadn’t yet completed the first note of “The Way We Were” before Michael Bublé smashed his red button.
Gwen Stefani followed approximately a millisecond later. The remaining coaches, Snoop Dogg and Reba McEntire, had joined them by the end of the song’s first line. Now, Wright joins that vaunted class of four-chair turn performances.

A video of Wright’s audition was making the rounds on social media ahead of Monday’s (Oct. 14) episode, and it seems there’s a new fan favorite in town. “epitome of the shows name ‘The Voice,’” one X/Twitter user wrote.
“Yes one perfect voice,” another user agreed. “Holy cow.”
Who Did Cameron Choose?
Calling Wright’s performance “spectacular,” Reba asked, “This ain’t your first rodeo, is it?”
It is not. “I’ve been singing professionally since I was 5,” replied Wright, who uses they/them pronouns. “My mother’s a professional gospel singer and she threw me on the stage and made me sing, yes, ‘Jesus Loves Me.’”
Reba wasn’t the only one trying to court Wright. “Not one moment wasn’t perfect the way you sang that,” Gwen Stefani said. “It’s insane.”
Michael Bublé added, “[My] favorite part about you is that God gave you a light that pours out of you and you can’t buy it, you can’t bottle it.”
Then it was Snoop’s turn. “I’m going to be honest with you, I’m not looking for somebody who already has it all,” the West Coast legend said. “But I think there’s a few things in my toolbox that I can give you to get you all the way over the hump.”
Tune in to The Voice Monday (Oct. 14) on NBC at 7 p.m. Central to see who Wright chose as their coach.
