Asher HaVon’s concert in Selma has been officially canceled, according to a post on his social media feed this past weekend.
HaVon posted an announcement on Facebook Thursday, Aug. 29, saying that due to numerous scheduling conflicts, the Back-to-School concert will not happen at Selma High School and was being moved to a new site on Saturday.
However, the concert was canceled altogether, and HaVon said they would be issuing refunds for the concert.
“It breaks my heart to share that tonight’s show has been canceled. This journey has thrown more challenges our way than we could have ever anticipated—Covid, unexpected cancellations, and last-minute location changes have all taken their toll,” HaVon said Saturday. “I want to express my deepest gratitude for your understanding and unwavering support during these tough times. Your love means the world to me, and I promise that I’m working hard to make it up to you. I’m incredibly excited for the tour next year, and I can’t wait to create unforgettable memories together.”
The contact person for refunds is Shakira Morgan, (334) 320-5029.
