Meanwhile a disappointed Miles congratulated Ryan and Amani as pyrotechnics sparked and gold confetti fell from the ceiling.

Ryan’s fiancée Lucy Mecklenburgh proudly watched from the audience and told hosts Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern earlier in how how the actor deserved to win after working so hard.

The two finalists battled it out as they performed the iconic Bolero, which made famous by judges Jane Torvill and Christopher Dean at the 1984 Winter Olympics.

An emotional Chris gushed over Miles and Vanessa’s interoperation’ of the famous routine and branded it wonderful, saying the reality star had ‘atoned’ for his fall on the ice earlier in the show.

Meanwhile Ryan’s rendition was equally as impressive with Jayne complimenting his ‘seamless skating’.

While Chris told the former soap star: ‘Tonight is your night!’.
