Famous actress Dalyce Curry died in a fire at her home in Los Angeles, her body was found 5 days later
In recent days, the wildfire in Los Angeles has caused heavy damage by burning down many buildings and houses. As of January 13, the fire has claimed the lives of at least 24 people.
On January 13, sharing with ABC News, Dalyce Kelly confirmed that her grandmother – actress Dalyce Curry – had passed away at the age of 95. The actress’s granddaughter said that the last time she saw her grandmother was on January 7. This person also confirmed that her grandmother’s body was found at her home.
The actress’s granddaughter said that at midnight on January 7, she took her grandmother to her house in Altadena (Los Angeles). Although she saw the fire, she did not feel any danger and that she needed to leave to take care of her sister who had cancer.
“We had a great run. She touched my life in so many ways. It was heartbreaking to lose her,” Kelly said.
The next morning, Kelly received a text message saying her grandmother’s house had lost power, so she rushed to check. However, a police officer told her that her grandmother’s house, actress Dalyce Curry, had burned down.
She then went to the Pasadena Community Center, where residents were evacuated, but she couldn’t find her grandmother. Five days later, actress Dalyce Curry’s body was found in her home, but it had burned down.
Veteran actress Dalyce Curry is known for her appearances in hits such as The Blues Brothers (1980), The 10 Commandments (1956) and Lady Sings the Blues (1972).
