6Dr. Julian Mercer In ‘Something’s Gotta Give’
Next up we have Reeves’ role in the 2004 Diane Keaton and Jack Nicholson romantic comedy, Something’s Gotta Give. In the film, Reeves portrays the character of Julian Mercer, a young and charming doctor who manages to capture the affections of Diane Keaton’s Erica Barry. Coming in next is Reeves’ returning role as the lethal John Wick in John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum. Unsurprisingly, in second place we have yet another Matrix installment with The Matrix Reloaded. The film was the second installment in the series and saw Reeves return to his role as Neo or Thomas A. Anderson to once again fight the systems that be alongside his team. Also returning to the sequel was Lawrence Fishbourne reprising his role as Morpheus and Carrie-Anne Moss reprising her role as Neo’s badass romantic interest, Trinity. The film grossed a total of $281.5 million in US box office earnings.
1Duke Caboom In ‘Toy Story 4’
And finally coming in first on this list of high-grossing roles is Reeves’ supporting role in the highly anticipated 4th installment in the Pixar classic Toy Story series. In the film, Reeves voiced the role of Duke Caboom, an ambitious motorcycling figurine. With $434 million in total made from US box office earnings, his role as the whacky toy makes this the highest-grossing role of Reeves’ to date.
