The Voice fans were surprised to find out that contestant Tanner Frick quit the competition, leaving the show before competing in the Knockout round. So, what happened?
The news was revealed during the November 11 episode that aired on NBC.
Tanner was originally on Reba McEntire‘s team, but after he was eliminated in the Battle Round, Michael Buble stole the singer for his team. Well, it seems he didn’t want to compete with Michael as his coach.
NBC never announced a reason for Tanner‘s departure, but the episode featured host Carson Daly informing Michael that “Tanner left the competition after rehearsals.”
Tanner hasn’t yet explained his exit, but he did post a cryptic message on social media.
“Ain’t nobody want me anyway,” he captioned a TikTok video showing him in a recording studio.
