When it comes to kind celebs in the realm of showbiz, Keanu Reeves is often the first name to pop up, and for good reasons. From his involvement in several charities to the actor once accompanying his fellow stranded travelers on a road trip, there are a plethora of stories to support the claims of the actor being an upstanding guy.

But The Matrix actor isn’t the lone star in Hollywood who never shies away from making his fans’ day, as Stranger Things star Gaten Matarazzo is also walking in Reeves’ footsteps.

Since rising to prominence back in 2016, Gaten Matarazzo has always been adamant about having a positive impact on his audience. This was reflected when the actor decided that whenever a fan would stop him and ask to take a picture with them, “I will ask them to take a picture with me” to showcase how much they mean to him.

Recently, when a fan approached him, even though the person couldn’t recall the actor’s name and referred to Matarazzo as his Stranger Things counterpart, he was still chill about it, asking “How are you”. Reflecting on the interaction, fans lauded the actor for his friendly gesture. Some responses from fans were:

Bro chill as hell

He’s so nice bro. One of my favorites out of the cast. I never see any drama with him

Dude looks like the kindest human on this planet. Best actor on the show also.

He’s immediate “how are you”.. aw

There’s good people in this world and then there’s Gaten. He has his own category OF GOOD

This has further cemented Matarazzo’s status as one of the nicest guys in the business, who never takes his fans for granted.

Gaten Matarazzo on His Fear of Stranger Things Ending

With Stranger Things set to wrap up with its fifth and final season, which kickstarted back in 2016, Gaten Matarazzo expressed that it’s a bittersweet experience.

While on one side, he is excited for the characters to undergo one last development before concluding their journeys, he also has a deep fear of the show ending. Considering the actor has been part of the Netflix show since he was 13 and “It’s been pretty great job security for a while”, the actor has a fear of getting back to freelance after the show concludes.

“Of course it is. There’s kind of an excitement there, ’cause you always want to wrap it up and see how these characters are going to finally develop one last time, and how they’re going to finish their journeys. But also there’s like a deep fear. Not only has it been amazing, but it’s been pretty great job security for a while. Back to freelance.”

It’s reasonable to see why this might be a scary experience for the actor, as Stranger Things has been a constant in his life since he was a kid. But fans will hope his portrayal of Dustin Henderson isn’t the last of the Honor Society star in the limelight and he continues his ascend to the top post the acclaimed Netflix show.
