She showed off the new bling after renewing her vows with Justin earlier this month.
Hailey Bieber has a lot to celebrate as of late. The model announced her first pregnancy with husband Justin Bieber, renewed her vows for their fifth wedding anniversary, and has now received a shiny new engagement ring to mark the milestone occasions.
The Rhode founder showed off her new bling in a recent Instagram post. The upgraded jewelry features a massive, megawatt oval-cut diamond set in a gold band, which she paired with her Tiffany & Co. pavé diamond V-shaped wedding band. Her original 2018 engagement ring—also an oval-shaped diamond, sourced from luxe jeweler Solow & Co. for a reported half a million dollars—could still be seen on her right pinkie finger.
INSTAGRAMWhile the couple hasn’t yet publicly commented on the new diamond, Justin presumably presented his wife with the sparkler following their intimate vow renewal ceremony in Hawaii earlier this month.
“The new ring is almost identical to her original engagement ring in terms of the four-prong setting, a style Hailey is a fan of, though the elongated oval-cut diamond is considerably bigger, at roughly 18 carats,” Laura Taylor of Lorel Diamonds tells Bazaar. “Hailey’s original 10-carat engagement ring is worth an estimated £480,000 ($600,000), though that price tag seems small in comparison to her new 18-carat replacement ring, which is worth upwards of £800,000 ($1 million) thanks to its excellent clarity and rarity.”
U.K.-based diamond retailer Steven Stone gave a similar estimate of $1.5 million to Page Six, describing the ring as Hailey’s “most impressive yet.” Yet another jeweler, Rare Carat CEO Ajay Anand, also estimated the rock’s worth at $1.5 million.
The Biebers, who wed in 2018, announced that they are expecting their first child in a joint Instagram post on May 9. Sharing photos of the vow renewal ceremony, Hailey showed off her baby bump for the first time in a lacy off-the-shoulder bridal dress from Saint Laurent.
