Now, The Walking Dead (via WotNot) has released a trailer for Daryl Dixon season 2, episode 3, hinting at Laurent’s ceremony going forward. The trailer reveals that Daryl has been captured by Losang (Joel de la Fuente), who is questioning whether they should go through with testing the boy. In the meantime, Carol is asking people at the Pouvoir outpost about Daryl, meeting Codron (Romain Levi) and potentially falling into Genet’s (Anne Charrier) hands, as she offers to help her find him. Check out the trailer below:
What Season 2, Episode 3’s Trailer Means for Daryl Dixon
Everyone’s Story Is Starting To Converge
The latest trailer hints that Daryl Dixon‘s characters are about to converge, especially now that Carol is aware the Pouvoir knows who Daryl is. Given that Codron has been ruthlessly tortured by Genet, who is still searching for where the Nest is located, it’s possible he’ll end up becoming an ally to the secondary protagonist. Having been influenced by Laurent to turn against the antagonistic group, his presence could result in the titular character getting reunited with his longtime survival partner.
In the meantime, Daryl’s attempts to save Laurent will seemingly not go as planned, with the trailer confirming his ceremony is going to go forward. Isabelle can be seen in attendance, meaning she might be the only one who can rescue her nephew from the Nest. Given that Daryl Dixon season 3 will be moving its story to Spain, anything could happen to the young boy within the next few episodes. However, since he was seen in locations beyond the Nest in the previous trailer, he’s likely going to survive next week’s events.
Our Take On Daryl Dixon Season 2, Episode 3’s Trailer
Many Tense Storylines Are About To Come To A Head
With Carol now in the captivity of the Pouvoir and Daryl searching for a way to rescue Laurent, it seems multiple storylines are going to reach their climaxes in the upcoming episode. This could mean that, going forward, the pair and their respective allies are going to be dealing with both groups as their enemies, potentially needing to escape France altogether in order to ensure their safety. Since Daryl Dixon has been full of twists and turns in its story already, the ceremony seems like it will be a huge event that determines how the future of the series develops.
