Satisfied with Call of Duty: Black Ops 6’s campaign, fans of the franchise now want a Call of Duty Campaign-only Collection.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 is officially out and it’s safe to say that the game has been well-received by the fans. The spy thriller campaign is definitely a slight shift from the traditional Call of Duty War genre but it hasn’t disappointed at all.

The Call of Duty franchise is well-known for its exceptional campaigns. After the success of Black Ops 6, players now want a campaign collection, a single-player-only collection of every Call of Duty game. The collection can also be split into Modern Warfare and Black Ops collections. This way, players will not have to download multiplayer packs to play the campaigns.

Over the years, the Call of Duty franchise has given fans some amazing campaigns. It’s hard to choose the best one as each campaign is special in its own way. To celebrate the success of Black Ops 6, Activision needs to start working on a Call of Duty Campaign-only Collection that contains the campaign of every single Call of Duty game since 2003’s Call of Duty.
Players on the r/PS5 subreddit have suggested that Activision can also make special Modern Warfare and Black Ops collections to cater to different fans. Not just the campaign, but Activision could also create a Zombies-only collection. If Activision plans to create a collection like this, it needs to make sure that it doesn’t force players to have an internet connection as it will ruin the gaming experience.
Players Need An Internet Connection To Play Campaign

Like many other video games, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 has also made it mandatory for every player to get an internet connection to play the game. Many players, who prefer the single-player experience, find it odd that an internet connection is required even when you want to play the campaign. Since some players don’t have a constant internet connection, they have complained about getting disconnected from the campaign.
This could really affect the game’s sales, in fact, at the moment, the game has “Mixed” reviews on Steam. Many players have criticized Activision for forcing the “always-online” requirement. Some negative reviews also point out that Call of Duty HQ is useless and ruining the player experience.
As for the multiplayer, players are running into bugs and have been complaining about how small the maps are. Sixteen maps were available at launch, but Activision will certainly announce new maps in the future.
There have been some complaints about the Zombies mode as well but all the technical issues will be resolved in the coming weeks. Compared to other video game titles this year, Black Ops 6 still had a smooth launch. The game was released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on 25th October, 2024 and for select Xbox Game Pass users, the game is currently for free.
